Branch Updates
Branch-wide: Do you know a graduating high school senior who needs a $1,000 scholarship for post-secondary college or training? Encourage them to apply for the Peoples Bank scholarship. We are giving away seven $1,000 scholarships to students attending Carlisle, Chariton, Indianola, Knoxville, Pleasantville, Southeast Warren, and Seymour/Wayne schools.
Carlisle: We hosted a local Girl Scout troop in February to help teach the valuable lessons of saving and spending wisely! The girls had a great time and we enjoyed helping teach them the basics.
Chariton: February marks our 1-year anniversary of opening in Chariton! Thank you to everyone in the community for welcoming us and supporting our goal to bring community banking back to Chariton!
Indianola: Lobby hours are changing effective March 1. The lobby will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday to Friday and closed on Saturdays. Customers can complete most banking business through the drive-up including: Cashing checks and making deposits or loan payments. This change will make it easier for us to ensure adequate staffing of personal bankers to assist customers during lobby hours.
Knoxville: Our drive-up is back open after months of being closed from the city’s road construction project. Reminder that we’re open 8:30 a.m. to Noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Lacona/Milo: We kicked off another year of hosting the Milo Food Pantry in February. The next pantry date is from 4 to 6 p.m. on April 7 at the Community Center.
Pleasantville: The Pleasantville Public Library now has a device-charging station thanks to a donation from Peoples Bank. Stop in and top off your mobile device’s battery power!
