Branch Updates

Bank-wide: Upcoming holiday closings: Monday, February 16, for Presidents Day.

Carlisle: Join us for a free Bingo Night at Stadium View Restaurant in Carlisle on March 2! Come out, play a few rounds, and win prizes from Peoples Bank and local businesses. This is one of five Bingo nights we’re hosting this year, so be sure to follow us on Facebook to catch the next one!

Indianola: We’re bringing back the weeklong shred event again this year. We’ll have shred bins in our Indianola lobby each day from September 14 to 18. This year the bins will be emptied on a daily basis. As a reminder, these bins are for shredding items that contain personal/confidential information. No newspapers, magazines, or items with paperclips or staples will be accepted.

Chariton: We attended the Cattlemen’s Annual Banquet on January 9, and enjoyed a delicious steak dinner and a great evening with the community.

Knoxville: Our branch team will be attending the Knoxville Raceway’s 14th Annual Fundraiser on February 28 at the Dyer Hudson Building at the Knoxville Raceway. Dinner begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by the auction at 6:30 p.m.

Milo/Lacona: To celebrate the grand opening of the new Milo American Legion building in February, we paid for 35 attendees to have biscuits and gravy on us. The American Legion hosts breakfast for the community on the first Sunday of each month from October through May, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Pleasantville: We’re excited to partner with Pleasantville schools to host a group of students interested in learning about different roles at the bank during a job shadow event in February. We’ll also have our Pleasantville Branch Manager, Marion County Ag Lender, and Marketing Assistant volunteering at the schools’ Career Day in March to connect with students and share about the different careers available in banking. If your school is interested in hosting a similar event, contact us at marketing@mybankpsb.com.

Seymour: We are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with our annual Pot of Gold contest! Stop by the branch March 9 to 17 and take a guess at how many coins are in the pot for your chance to win some Peoples Bank swag.
